I am new here and not brilliantly mechanically inclined, but I try.
My oil light comes on when the engine is cold sometimes. Only for probably 1-2 minutes and then goes out. I have checked the oil every time this happens and it's got plenty but I do top it up if there's room.
One thing worth mentioning is that I have swapped out the collapsed hagon shock that was on it when I got it for a fully adjustable showa shock from a 2003 CBR600F4i. As some/all of you will know this modifies the stance of the bike and thus the engine is at a different angle than normal. I figured maybe this could be the cause, and that I am safe providing I keep an eye on the oil level.
Any thoughts?
