I really don't have the time or knowledge to attack my carb, so I am thinking of taking it to a Yamaha dealer here in No Cal. After reading a bunch of posts, I am thinking it needs a sync and idle(?) adjustment. I really don't feel it needs a full disassemble and cleaning. The petcock I just rebuilt was remarkable clean. I am wondering about how much should something like this cost? I just don't want to get hosed by them. I know this is a very subjective question, but there seems to be a lot of knowledge and past experience here. Thanks in advance.
