xj 600 air box, crankcase breather

Hi, not long had a Yamaha xj600, it's my first bike. Bit of a silly question but on the front underside of the airbox there's a pipe that I think should go to the crankcase? I can't seem to find where on the crankcase it connects to :s thanks in advance for any help, I'll have a better question next time I post on here.
