Hello. I recently bought a 92 Seca 2 with 12K Miles on it and am in the process of getting it running well. It had sit a while and is running a bit rough. I have done all the basics: changed oil, tank drain and clean, new fuel filter, plugs, etc... My next project is rebuilding the petcock.
It runs pretty rough while it is cold and especially in 1st and 2nd gear. Once it is warm, it seems to run well in 1st and 2nd, but not always. Sputters and bogs and I am afraid of it stalling in traffic. I am hoping the petcock rebuild might help with this. If the rebuild doesn't help with this I am thinking of taking it to a mechanic and having the carbs/valves looked at.
Any feedback or advice would be appreciated.
