93 XJ600 Seca II Help Needed....Thanks

I am a newbie when it comes to mechanics, but I am trying. I had some issues with my front wheel not rolling freely and freezing up and then it would go away..totally confused. I was afraid it might throw me off the bike so I started doing some research here. I pulled the front brake system off and cleaned everything off via some you tube research, got her back together all cleaned. I have followed the directions in the service manual and have watched a ton of you tubes regarding bleeding the brakes. Nothing is working. I have a clear tube on the bleeder into a vat of new brake fluid submerged...did the pump the lever/tighten and release bleeder screw and nothing happens, the brake fluid in the master has not gone down and I see no fluid going through the clear tube...been hours on this an getting frustrated...out of beer so I am heading to the store...any help would be awesome...thanks.
