I have a 1993 XJ600 Seca II with 16,000 on her. Just got her running right and 2 issues just popped up. The first is I noticed my bike was not moving freely in neutral or with the clutch pulled in. I found that my front tire was not spinning at all. I tried to clean around the calipers to see if any dirt was the cause and nothing there. I twisted off the cable down by the caliper that controls the brake and put that back in and adjusted brakes on the handlebars. Don't know what I did, but it came free...its been fine for 2 days, but I am afraid it might happen when riding, Any idea what caused it and any fix or maintenance needed to be done. The other issue is that bike after warming up got ready to roll, throw it in gear and it stalled. I messed with the kick stand and still nothing..runs and when put in gear dies,,,messed with the kick stand again and bam good to go. Is it the kick stand kill switch or maybe something else? Is there a way to disable the kick stand kill switch? Any help is greatly appreciated...Thanks again.
