My Name is Sarah, I live in Kirkmichael, Perth & Kinross.
I own a XJ600N and a Zephyr 550
The Zephyr is in the shed waiting patiently to be repaired and put back on the road :/
The Yamaha has sat in another shed over winter. Did work fully before storage... :/
I am a young 31yr old with only basic knowledge of bikes.

My first 2 wheeled vehicle was a yamaha jog..enough of that... then I moved onto a GS 125. I loved this bike 'suzilooki' was her name and I still miss her to this very day :'( I travelled around scotland for 2 weeks on her (riden all the way up from Oxford, she had some gumption, and easily carried a pillion plus luggage to Scotland). Folks seemed to be surprised by this..I still ask why..... MISS YOU!!!

After Suzulooki was Zephyrelli. I have travelled around europe on my Zephyr, 19 countries in a clockwise direction in 3 months. Brilliant & Knackering but would defly do it again..just in warmer months next time...brrrrrrrr

See: http://www.toeuropewithus.co.uk

Since then My bike riding has been mainly to/from work..the Zephyr was my work horse and was ridden into the ground through every season..im not a fair weather rider...hence Zephyrelli now being in my shed and now in need of Much Love.

SO, I wanted another bike to use in the meantime as didnt want to get out of touch..So I bought myself a divvy. They;'re like tanks, last forever I was told... I planned to lower it a touch and get on the road.... Didnt work out like that though :(
Whilest riding the divvy home I came off the bike at a ridiculously low speed on an oil patch on a road with terrible cambor and down the bike went. I landed on my feet.. :) the bike lost the ball end of the front brake lever. All was well and I got it home..but (and iv been off the zephyr 3 times and got back on) it shook me, maybe it was cos it was an unfamiliar bike but I just couldnt get the confidence to get back on it and it sat and sat and sat in the shed..the weather got bad..this stopped me feeling so bad as not ideal to take it out but still I knew even if it was nice weather I would still be hesitant.

So now here I am... basically a year later...slapping myself with a wet fish..getting off my arse and planning to get on the divvy and go out. Bad things come to those who wait....and I now have a problem with the clutch....SO now you know your going to See me asking for help in the technical area.. :( Ihope you can help :)

Thanks for reading my introduction to you all.
RIde Safe!!

Sarah
