Weird carb issue

Hi guys. I have a question about a carb issue that I am having on a 1984 ZX 550. I know its not my XJ, but I figure carbs are mostly all the same. What is happening is that the carbs idle and rev fine without a load on them at all times, cold or hot. However when the engine gets hot, every time I accelerate and I pull my clutch lever to shift, the rpms jump 1000-2000 rpm. Ive checked for vacuum leaks, warped carbs, and everything else I can think of. Other than that the engine is great and runs perfect. Does anybody have any ideas as to what this could be?
