So, I had the seat off adding doing some wiring and adding a tail light modulator. I was in the process of looking for the double sided tape that I had last seen near the battery. As I looked around I noticed a black pouch in the left side rear fairing next to the battery. I pulled it out and immediately realized it was the factory tool kit!
The P.O. told me he didn't know where it was. I opened it up to find all of the tools in decent shape. I put it back under the seat in it's proper place. They aren't the best tools ever, and I honestly don't know how helpful they would be if needed, but I've got them now if I need them.
Oh, and here's a shot of the modulator mounted in the tail light housing. Very simple to do, and it will be nice knowing that I've got something to draw more attention to the bike.
