So now that I've been riding for a couple weeks, i've decided to play with a few of the adjustable ergonomics that the bike has to offer. Simple things really, like the shifter position, handlebars, brake lever etc...
I've done a couple already but the one I need to ask about is adjusting the rear brake lever height. The FSM says 40mm down from the top of the peg, is this one set in stone? Is there any reason why I shouldn't adjust it, as long as I keep the adjuster screw end in the site window? I tend to like the feeling of locking my heel against the peg while I'm riding in traffic, although when I'm not stop and go I like to rest the ball of my foot on the peg. When my heel is locked against the peg, it just feels like i have to keep my toes angled up too high or I'm going to engage the pedal. Maybe it's just a get used to it thing but if I can lower that rear lever, even a touch, I'd like to try it. Just don't want to do anything wrong with the brakes.
Thanks for the input
