Hi All,
I'm in the process of adjusting the floats following a carb rebuild. I hooked the tank directly to the carbs (bypass the whole fuel pump assembly) and turn the petcock to prime.
Then I went through and "wet" adjusted all the floats (pain in the ass btw).
Even thing seems great, I re-hook up the fuel pump.
Then I turn the bike on and it idle for a few second (using up all the fuel in the bowls) then bogs and dies. Going in to check the float levels right after it dies and #1 and #2 are right on spec, while #3 and #4 are bone dry.
I'm at a loss as to why it would be fine while setting the floats, but then dry when trying to run the bike.
