Hi all, new to the forum, but thought I would share a small project I did to the tail light on my '98. The tail light bothered me since day 1 with the xj600, and I could'nt see spending $300 +/- on an r6 tail. I noticed the mount for the light and the amount that the light hung out past the end of the tail plastic was pretty much the same. I used a dremel to cut the license plate holder and tail light off, cut the mounting points off, and fitted them to the now open points in the tail. the license plate bracket fit tucked behind the tail light after minor modification, and the aftermarket blinkers i have fit on the frame. ck out the video for pictures of the process and the end result.
