Fork Dust Seals

My fork dust seals are in sad, sad shape. The rubber is cracked and broken up. They look like someone took them off and then chewed on them for a day or two in order to get the juicy fork oil goodness out of them. So, with that, do I have to get a fork dust seal specifically for the XJ, or do they fall within the universal category?
