2nd gear issue

When under moderate to heavy acceleration in second gear on occasion the gear slips, it feels like its coming from the rear sprocket however the sprocket looks fine, I'm worried the dogs in the transmission could be worn, I've found cheap transmission internals online, as well as reasonable Chain and sprocket sets but I'm on a limited budget. I'm also curious if it could be an oil issue I just got the bike and I know theyre wet clutches and I'm waiting on my K&N oil filter to get in monday to do a Mobile1 oil change. Any thoughts? :moped: :safe:
