93 seca 2 600, what to look out for when buying?

This weekend I'm going to look at a 93 Seca 2 600 and I figured I would ask on here to try and find out if there are any specific things to watch out for on the Seca 2. This will be my first road bike, but I have a 96 xr 400r dirt bike that I have ridden for a few years. What should the compression be? He said it idles high until it gets warmed up, so I think the carbs just need to be tuned, or a possible air leak. This seems to be the most active xj/seca forum I have found. Hopefully I will join the club with this seca 2!
