just returned from my storage where i hooked up my sparkling clean, and piney fresh, carbs.
"so was the rebuild a success?" you ask...
how the hell would i know, i cant get any fuel to them!
with the petcock in the prime position, i get a steady flow of fuel from the petcock and through my new fuel filter. when i pulled the carb-side of the line hooking the pump to the carb bank it was damp, but there was no flow. when i lowered the line to a level below the pump i got a trickle, but nowhere near the stream i get going into the pump. is it time for a pump or gasket kit, or should there be a heavy restriction at the pump in the prime setting, and i am overlooking something dumb and simple in my frustration :wallbash:
