story goes, i made a quick trip through the carbs on the bike a while back and theyve been sitting on the kitchen counter ever since. i didnt go into great detail with them, was just hopeing to get the bike started. not sure what i was thinking. it would be good if the bike ran, but great if it ran well. maybe you guys have given me a false hope, but i now believe they could be cleaner/snappier.

ive been looking through the old carb cleaning posts here and think the pine sol meathod sounds like its worth a shot. what i dont understand is this...

if pine sol is being used because it isnt harmfull to rubber parts, whats stopping me from pulling the carbs apart and dropping the whole lot into a bath? not that they are filthy at this point but im curious why i wouldnt want to ungunk my o-rings, gaskets, floats, and such?

thanks all
rett
