Thought I'd sign up for the forum after a good browse, looks an excellent knowledge base!
Confession time! I dont actually own a bike at the moment! But I'm going to view a XJ600S Diversion on my way home from work tomorrow night. Its a 1996 model (apparently imported from the States so I suspect that this is the import date rather than the model year), 47000 miles, yellow, and hes asking £550 ono! So fingers crossed! :drapheus:
A little about me: my name is Jim (not Slartibartfast
), I'm in the Royal Navy (Submariner), live on the East coast of bonnie Scotland. Previous bikes have been a Suzuki 600 Bandit (given to me for free to learn on), a Triumph TT600, an F650 Funduro followed by a F650GS Dakar (love a big Thumper!!) and finally an old Suzuki GSX600F (which didnt do too well after being thrown at a deer :thumbdown: Personal interests are bikes, guitars, music, kayaking, swimming, playing squash, camping and generally being outside!
Stand by for lots of silly questions (assuming I buy the bike although I probably will)
