First of all, Why do the mod?
It quite simply gives a Brighter more solid colour, where as the standard bulbs give the warning lights a off white colour, the led's give it a solid green, red, blue and orange.
The other reason is is you want something allot smaller without a housing.
Times Probably About 20 minuets.
I suggest using 10mm LED's, these bad boys are twice the size of normal LED's for near the same price.

To Start it was Simple
Oil = Negative to the Light Brown - Positive to the Black and Red
Hi/Beam = Negative to Black - Positive to Yellow
Then i hit problems.
The first one i was expecting.
Turn Signals light runs:
Dark Brown From Left indicator to the positive ( Warning Bulb ) Negative to the Dark Green wire From Right Indicator.
But this does not work for Leds, if you try that only 1 side will flash the LED.
So i connected both the dark brown and dark green to the positive then wired the negative into the black wire from the Hi/Beam.
Still had the same problem, the current was transferring from the brown to the green and lighting all 4 indicators up, the currents back feeding.
So, I've never used these before but i went and bought some Protector diodes (I'm sure you all know what they do but Just encase you don't know, because i for one didn't think of it for a good 4 hours, they work the same as LED's but without the light, they only allow power to pass threw them one way.
So wiring these onto the end of the brown and green wires then to the positive of the LED fixed my problem as they didn't allow the current to go back down the wire for the side not being used.
Next problem i ran into but "WASN'T" expecting is the neutral.
Some of you may remember that i posted a message days ago saying my neutral LED wasn't working.
Well it turns out the Negative goes to the blue and the Positive to the Brown, Not the other way around as i expected, This confused me and still does but it works.
