Hi Everyone, I'm Adam from Ontario, Canada. I'm going to have a look at a 96 seca II this afternoon. It's listed as a non running "project bike" with 30 000 km for $700. I'll be a new rider this spring, although i've ridden a few dirt bikes many many many years ago. This might be my first road bike, if i buy it, and if i like riding it. I'm new to working on bikes but have restored a couple of sleds over the years. I'm looking forward to branching out...
Great site you have here, i've been reading tons over the last week or so. I'm looking for a good bike to commute 60 km a day, not too old, and not too expensive and it sounds like the Seca II should work well.
I'll be posting up later on, looking for some opinions. I won't be buying tonight but i don't really have any fear of losing the bike as it's been advertised since last fall.
