Hi all – New member here. A little about myself… Just purchased my first road bike after two seasons on my Suzuki DR200SE. Via Craigslist I found a ’92 Seca II for sale by another forum member. This bike has had a lot of work done to it most of which can be seen in an intro post by forum member bikebitzofvt, so I wont go into detail here. Suffice it to say the bike runs like a top. I have been riding for two seasons now, so I am still a pretty new rider. Growing up in a city didn't allow me to have a motorized bike when I was younger, but I made do with having one of the first "mountain bikes" in area in 1984 (a Royce Union Mt. St. Helen's if anyone remembers those, not a real MTN bike by today's standards). I do remember my older brother bringing home copies of Dirt Bike magazine though and then bugging the crap out of my parents for one until they finally banned me from talking about dirt bikes for the rest of my life. Well, fast forward 24 years or so (sadly, but better late than never) and the addiction has hit me full force. I came to Northern Vermont a few years ago for my job and I love it from a motorcycling perspective. Lots of great roads and views, but the warm weather could last a few weeks longer. I look forward to putting many miles on my Seca and becoming an active member of this community.
Cheers!
Chris
