I'm joining the team of XJ 600's. 25 year old guy from Denmark, and recently picked up a stock 2000 XJ 600, in excellent condition. This forum is perfect! Alot of beautiful bikes, projects and friendly, helpfull minds.
The XJ fits me like a glove, because I needed something a bit more reliable than my 1980 Moto Guzzi V50 II, which I've turned into probaly one of the loudest cafe racers in Denmark

But I can't leave anything stock, and in my mind, the XJ lacked a bit of "soul". So I'm turning it into something with a bit of street tracker flair, and already require the aid of you fellow riders. I've checked out the different tire topics, but still haven't found an answer.
Question: Will a 120/90 - 17 fit on the front, and a 140/80 - 18 fit on the back? I know the rims can handle the width, but I'm in doubt regarding the height (tire hitting the swingarm and inside of the front fender)?
Below, you can see my XJ600 with a quick photoshop of what I plan on doing, and my V50 cafe racer.

My plan'ish (not going to turn it into the older model
