Hey guys, another problem...
Getting sick of this. Rode the bike to work this morning, I'm in Washington and it just started raining here, rode it on wet pavement when it wasn't raining and everything was fine. Worked all day, then started it up and rode off to go home and it was raining pretty hard (first time I ever rode it in downpour), then after about 10 minutes or so the bike just suddenly lost acceleration power and seemed like it was going to die, so I put the choke on to see if it just needed to heat up more and that didn't do anything. The engine doesn't sound the same either, it sounds much quieter but it constantly sounds like I'm low on gas when it's about 3/4ths full. Tried putting it on reserve but that didn't do anything. As I give it throttle it would accelerate but pretty poorly and the oil light would turn on for a it then turn off. When I got home I checked the eyeglass for the oil while holding it up and there's plenty of oil in it.
Could it be my fuel pump is failing? Need to clean the carbs (like my other problem with not being able to get passed 85)? Not all cylinders are firing? Do I need to add/remove oil...? At a loss here
Any help would be appreciated, again..
EDIT: Okay, just took it for a spin after letting it dry off for a little bit, and it was perfectly normal. I don't understand this :what:
