Hey so looking for some input from you guys. I am rebuilding my forks as many of you know from all the questions I've been asking. Anyhow, I got the lowers painted and was putting everything back together and all was goin well until I put the dust seals on. They do stay in the top of the lower fork legs they just move with the upper tube!!! I ordered the pyramid combo kit 009 & 069. The inside diameter of my fork is 50.45mm the old dust seal is 50.60mm and the new one is 49.95mm (close as I can tell with my crappy harbor freight digital caliper). Needless to say the new dust seal does not have an interferance fit with the fork leg, problem. Also the new oil seal look like they are a bit of a different design from the old ones. As best I can tell they are the same O.D. but I'm worried if the dust seals are wrond am I also going to have the wrond oil seals and have them give me trouble when it's all together? Has anyone run into this before? What should I do? Will Pyramid-parts send me the right ones? It took almost two weeks for the first set to show up, I don't want to wait that long for the replacements if thats the case. Help?
