O.K. As a disclaimer i would first like to say that sometimes I get really out of this world ideas, most of the time they are just ideas, but sometimes :grins: .
So I was thinking, On youtube I have seen everything from a Victory to a Busa to a KLR make it to Alaska. So what if a Seca 2 was to want to go. After all don't they deserve a shot too. What would one need to do to prep a Seca for the mud and lack of regular gas stops. In other words what would YOU do to prep your Seca for Alaska? I know if I posted this on any other forum I would get a "are you nuts? get a KLR!" but you guys would problably say, Hmmm interesting idea? Ecspecially MOzarkrider, didnt you think of converting a Seca to an adventure bike?
My thoughts are:
Dual purpose tires
Off road hand guards
Dirt guards for the front shocks
Anything else?
