what does everyone recommend as far as fork oil is concerned? I know the recommended weight is 10w but what brand do you guys have good results with? Where to you get the fork oil? Would car care places maybe have it or motorcycle shops and online only?

The other question I have is about removing the top cap during disassembly. It is the top cap that is holding the spring in place so when you remove it is going to fly eveywhere? I read thru 1Oldman's write up on changing fork seal but the last bit was a little confusing to me. He said "Using one hand, guide the top cap into the tube while your friend compresses the fork spring. With your other hand work the ratchet to start the top cap into the threads of the fork tubes." So If i read this right and from the pic he has the top cap is what is actually pushing everything into place? The friend is just to add the extra force and pair of hands so that "you" can guide and turn? Is it really a pain in the ass to do, do you need alot of force or a moderate amount?
