Ok, I bought a 92 Seca II about a year ago. I have finally started tearing it apart to fix the idler gear. Come to find out both starter idler gears needed replaced. I am now finished tearing it apart and have started putting it back together. The problem came when i was tighting up the rotor and forgot I had taken out the tensioner for the cam chain. I must of moved the sprocket enough to let it slip off of the cams because even when i lightly put back the tenioner back in, the cam chain is still loose. So, my heart just sank a little and i know i'm gonna have to set the top end back up. Is there a guide on how to reset the timing and lifters etc. I have the FM but still a little unsure the steps to do it correctly. I guess i can go ahead and put the two crankcase halfs back together and worry about the timing later? any ideas?
