broke a pilot jet in carb housing :(

So yeah it broke down inside the hole and Im not able to extract it because its so small. Question, do I run it like that (no idea what will happen) or drill it out and try to re-tap it? I have new pilot jets on the way and am looking for a cheap spare carb in the mean time. Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks!
