anybody hear of the carbon filter doodad installed in Cali models to control emissions etc? Apparently it can be a major pain in the arse!
My 96 randomly bogged and died on the freeway, so I tried literally EVERYTHNG i could think of to try and diagnose the root cause of my apparent fuel starvation
finally i took it to this local (TOTALLY WICKED!!!) diy motorcycle shop so id have more tiem/room to work on it. someone there told me about this strange little filter in all CA secas that can potentially become clogged and screw up the vacuum effect.
carbon filter removed. bike starts no problemo!!!I most def never woulda considered this possibilty...have any o ya ever encountered a problem like this?!?
