So went to take the carbs off today for cleaning and jet kit install. I disconnected the cylinder 1 vacuum hose that hooks up to the petcock and then proceeded to remove the fuel line from the petcock, in the past it disconnects fine and no fuel comes from the petcock itself, but today it was a steady dribble from the fuel outlet of the petcock. I am assuming I should just rebuild the petcock and that should solve this, but just to see any other opinions before i purchase parts. So any ideas?
