I own a 98 seca 600. I noticed an oil leak, not huge, but there is something leaking. Looks like somewhere around the area underneith the sprocket cover. I was told that it is pro. the oil seal on the shift shaft, but when I take off the cover I don't really see any oil on the seal or any leakage for that matter. Is there anywhere else it could be coming from as I really don't want to have to put a new seal in unless I know for a fact that is where its coming from cause looks like a big job. Also what is that rubber piece that connects to the sprocket? Mine is gone. Is that piece important? Looks like it was a guide or something.
