exhaust problem

ok so i bought the delkevic dual exhaust for my 93 xj600 and rejetted the carbs however when i go to accelerate the engine bogs and it seems like i go nowhere is this a problem that can be fixed by adjusting the fuel/air screw on the carb? if so how do i know which way to turn it?
