I get vibrations between 4k and 5k. What causes that and how do I fix it?

The XJ engine hits its natural resonance frequency between 4k and 5k RPM. This causes the bike to vibrate at high frequency, resulting in a buzz from the fairing and other parts. This is a characteristic of the bike and not a problem, however, it can be lessened considerably by synchronizing the carburetors and rubber-damping the fairing.
