I want to run a wider rear tire. How wide can I go?

In stock form, the Seca II features an 18" x 3.5" stock rear wheel with a 130 series tire. Seca II owners commonly fit a 140 or 150 series tire without incident, however, anything wider will rub the chain/swingarm on the stock wheel.

If you wish to run a 150 series tire and do it correctly, it is recommended that you upgrade to an FZR600 18" x 4.0" rear wheel. This will allow you to maintain the appropriate tire profile when installing the wider tire.
