My bike won't run without choke. What's wrong?

The Seca II uses an enrichment circuit instead of a choke. What this circuit does is feed fuel from the bowl to the backside of the carburetor butterfly, enriching the mixture during cold starts and allowing the engine to run.

If your engine will not run/idle without the choke on, you likely have clogged or dirty pilot jets inside your carburetor. The pilot circuit features a very small passageway for fuel. When the bike is stored for long periods of time and the fuel thickens/sludges, the pilot circuit often becomes clogged.

The remedy is to remove the carburetors, remove the float bowls and clean out each pilot circuit.
