Hello all from the great state of Texas. My name is Jon and I recently purchased a 96 Xj600s! This is a winter project for me and hope to finish it before Spring season.
Some specs:
- bike has been sitting for years and I purchased it non running for a cheap price.
- it has about 4,800 miles on the odometer
- as of now I am awaiting #20 pilot jets in the mail and in the process of cleaning and redoing the carbs.
- bike still needs work such as battery, oil, new vac lines and fuel lines
- tank is cleaned out and fitted with a Acerbis petcock and a Yamaha R1 gas cap (when MC was purchased it didn't have these items)
I got a cart filled in eBay with Aftermarket parts and stoked to get this thing up and running.
