Hello,
I have a 93 SECA (with 15k on it) and after my last battery died I got a new one 2 weeks of riding and now its failing to charge as well.
I looked at some of the posts here that said to check the voltage of my battery while running and even as I reved my bike to 5k I only got up too 11.9 V. I just ordered a regulator today and now that I see my bike isn't over charging Im starting to second guess that purchase.
I also found this chart and Im going to follow it to the best of my ability tomorrow and see what turns up. Any advice and any opinion of the part that is most common to fail would be great.
