OK... I probably should know the answer but still wanted to check with you guys... I have issues with the carbs and took them apart recently, whereby noticing the main jet o-rings weren't in great shape. Studying these parts, I am really trying to understand what the purpose of this o-ring is anyway... I left them out now on all four and it doesn't seem to make much difference, apart of the fact the bike is somewhat jolting around 3-4k rpm.
But itt idles steady and it picks up to accelerate flawless too..
So, do these o-rings have a function, could one explain the jolty ride at the rpm's I mention, in other words.. can I leave them out..?
