Carb cleaning and rebuild

So I have my xj600 1994 . and have not been abke to work on it much. Plus im not that experience to tackle the carb cleaning and rebuild, so I took it to a shop. They told that it would cost 450 dollars get it done. The part cost 110 dollars but they said its 4 hours of labor . That seems like alot. Im thinking of picking up the bike and trying it on my own. Plus I need new brakes and new tires. This project is getting rather expensive. [emoji19]
